What sets us apart

We put the power in the peoples hands which is where real change takes root. We believe that inclusivity, shared neutral spaces and avenues for cultural expression are key in building communities that are flourishing, inclusive, compassionate, resilient, and sustainable.

As forerunners in our field we are breaking parameters by reframing the relationship of cultural heritage, natural heritage, and the arts in Guatemala.

Bridging the gap between by boldly merging them together as inter related, interdependent, intrinsically tied aspects of our shared humanity that are vital to a more unified vision for the future of life on our planet.

NATURAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE

Being based in two of the country's Unesco World Heritage Sites, Antigua, and Peten near Tikal, we are proud to have the prestigious endorsement of UNESCO the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization in Guatemala that offers us a vital framework all of our work. Because our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility aligns with UNESCO’s 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions we have had the honor to work under the auspices of Unesco Guatemala since 2018.

We are committed to promoting peace, equality, social, and environmental justice. We are guided by the Declaration of Human Rights and Sustainable Development Goals, in alignment with the core principals of the sustainability, conservation, and preservation of the cultural, and natural heritage assets of our country.
