CULTURA DE MI BARRIO ART FESTIVAL

In 2026 we are inaugurating a contemporary public art exhibition that removes the gallery door. Notable as the first and only contemporary art event to be held near the ancient site of Tikal, on Lake Peten Itza, the exhibition blends ancient heritage with modern artistic expression.

Featuring 14 large scale pieces made by emerging mid career and established artists who are reframing the context of cultural heritage and the arts as an essential aspect of our shared humanity which by nature belong to the public domain to provide accessibility to all.
