Public Art
ADAC counteracts the deficit of public of museums, galleries, artistic contributions, cultural activity, and a functioning cultural network. Devoid of public Contemporary Guatemalan Art, Antigua faces a 20 year lag and disconnect in its local, national and international development. Representation of the arts has remained essentially untapped, while at the same time has the potential to enhance the entire city and provide it with a whole new level of attraction.
Our Alliance has been formed in order meet the need to create a unified arts network in our city and has been working diligently the past year to build a neutral cultural platform for everyone to move forward on as a united front. ADAC is currently the sole representative mediating the process of inclusion and installation of public contemporary visual arts in the inner city and urban areas. We are of service to the community assuring a representative voice in development circles, worktables, and cultural committees, we hold the space for further integrated growth.
Your support enables us to channel funding for arts development, implement art project proposals, placement of public exhibitions which aide build collaborative socially inclusive community engagement. Funding allows us to provide a bridge for the local, national, and international community of Guatemalans at home and abroad. Assisting us to proactively promote and expose the wealth of Guatemalan Contemporary Arts for generations to come.

Integrating large scale interactive sculpture, land art, artistically designed playground areas, we provide clean family friendly museum quality works by local, national and international artists seen along the public trail way.
ADAC is a member of the new Progressive Alliance united the private and public sector for the first time in history to create a public foot and bicycle trail way along the primary river and perimeter of Antigua. The Pensativo Park is a point of social and cultural exchange as an ecological, urban and city center development project. As an integrated development project, includes preservation, water treatment systems upstream, cleaning of the river beds and waterways, creating social areas, installation and placement of public artworks, recreational, as well and cultural and educational areas in a natural outdoor environment.
